TAHOE SKI CONDO

A three bedroom condo at the foot of Squaw Village ski mountain needed a serious update without breaking the bank. The owners weren’t fans of the heavy mountain furniture style so common in similar condos and wanted something lighter with a modernist flair. The furnishings also needed to stand up to the heavy use that comes with having a property in the rental pool.

All of the carpeting was replaced, walls painted, new lighting and switches installed. Closets were made far more functional with custom built-ins. Furniture was chosen with an eye for longevity and the ability to accommodate plenty of sleeping space, all accented by bursts of color. Artwork featured a local landscape photographer and prints by independent artists in mountain and lakeside motifs.
